Summerfield Nursery School

Our vision is a community where all children feel loved, respected and encouraged to develop to their fullest potential. Our program is planned to promote positive growth in the lives of all the little children in our care. We adopt a holistic approach that enables each child to develop their social, physical, emotional and intellectual abilities. We know that each child is unique and special and positive early childhood experiences are instrumental for a child’s overall development in later life. We are committed to the families we serve by providing support and encouragement and helping each child to grow to his or her individual full potential, in an environment surrounded by love and respect. Our aim is to prepare our children for the rigours of formal learning, to identify any potential learning problems at an early stage and to create a secure, happy, loving and stimulating environment where children can indulge in both spontaneous play of their own choice as well as organised play, through which they can learn.
